What to Expect
-
My mission is to provide compassionate, results-driven legal services that prioritizes what matters most to you. From initial consultations to final resolutions, I will listen closely, understand your goals, and develop tailored strategies to help you achieve them.
-
I am called to both the B.C. and Ontario Bar, giving me a unique perspective on the laws of both provinces. This dual insight is valuable when navigating inter-jurisdictional issues or considering moves between B.C. and Ontario. With me, you gain the advantage of knowledge and experience in both legal landscapes.
-
My approach centres on achieving the best outcomes for you and your family’s future, not prolonging conflict to drag out fees. I’m committed to being pragmatic and practical. By focusing on resolution, I aim to provide clarity and closure, allowing you to move forward with confidence.
-
While my primary goal is to resolve matters amicably and efficiently, I recognize that some cases require the decisiveness of the courtroom. I have appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and Superior and Provincial Courts in Ontario, representing clients in case conferences, applications and procedural motions. Should negotiation or mediation prove ineffective, I am ready and capable of pursuing your case through the courts.
-
Having worked with clients who have experienced domestic violence, addictions, and other forms of complex trauma, my approach is always guided by trauma-informed principles. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where your voice is heard, and ensuring you feel empowered and understood throughout the legal process.
-
I recognize the diversity of relationships and family structures in our community. My practice is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique legal needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. My goal is always to offer informed and compassionate legal services regardless of your background, ensuring all clients feel respected and understood.
